We hope you have had a great summer! Now that school has started again and many work schedules are back to normal, we wanted to update you on what we have going on at the gym over the next few months.
Due to the popularity of these classes, a few more Performance Classes have been added to the calendar. Please expect harder workouts and more technical movements such as Olympic Lifting. This is not a lifting only class, but an opportunity to fine tune technique and build on your intensity.
There are a number of Open Gyms on the weekly schedule that allow you to practice skills or do some extra strength training. To make best use of the hour, come with a plan as to what you want to do. A WOD will be posted if you want one to follow. This is not a personal training session, but a coach will be available for questions. Sign up is still required.
A Sunday 9:30am – 11:30am Open Gym has been set up for the month of September. Please note that this is a test month, and if it is well attended we will be happy to continue into October.
The Rocky Mountain Crusher – Sunday September 14th.
Registration is still available for this fun and challenging event. Along with a 5km trail run & 200m of elevation gain you will also need to complete 5 WOD’s along the way. Participants are joining us from throughout Western Canada and we look forward to hosting them at the Canmore Nordic Centre!

On Saturday September 27th we will have an official Open House for the community. This event will run from 9am – 2pm with open and free WOD’s every hour on the hour. Many more details will be posted as we get closer, but we hope you will be able to join us throughout the day.
